Visitation Ministry

This ministry strives to assist South Plains Church of Christ to be "a vibrant community of Christ, reaching out to touch our world," by encouraging others to join us in that quest.

Objectives:

1. To contact all visitors to the congregation, within one week of their visit, by mail, by phone, and in person, encouraging them to work with us at South Plains Church of Christ.

2. To place in service all South Plains Church of Christ members who desire to serve in this ministry.

This ministry has four teams that make personal visits.  These four teams visit one week each month.  Team One visits on the first weeks of the month, Team Two on the second week, and so on.

The ministry also has a phone team which calls each visitor weekly.

Another team sends cards to visitors each week.

Into the Fields is a ministry with makes contact with people in their homes where we can visit with them in their world, where they are comfortable.  We thank them for visiting South Plains Church of Christ and encourage them to consider worshiping and serving God together with us.

This is an effective ministry in which you can serve God and encourage others to be servants as well as a part of South Plains Church of Christ.  We encourage you to be a part of this ministry and help South Plains Church of Christ be "a vibrant community of Christ, reaching out to touch our world" with the gospel of Christ.
